Aaron B. Chapman, a versatile interdisciplinary artist based in Portland, OR and Mexico, combines his passion for music and video creation into captivating multimedia experiences. With a rich background as the front person of the art-pop indie band Nurses, Aaron has graced stages globally alongside notable acts like Portugal the Man, Unknown Mortal Orchestra, Stephen Malkmus, and The Mountain Goats among others. Currently, he channels his creative energy into spearheading the musical project s.e.c.r.e.t.s. while also offering his expertise in music composition and video editing on a freelance basis.
Aaron's diverse artistic portfolio features performances at prestigious events, including the Portland Institute of Contemporary Art's Time-Based Art Festival, Sasquatch! Music Festival, Le Guess Who? Festival, End of the Road Festival, and the Keep Portland Weird Festival at Gaîté Lyrique in Paris. Additionally, Aaron has provided dynamic live scores for the Fin De Cinema series at Holocene.
His music has been featured in hit TV shows such as Vampire Diaries, HBO's Togetherness, and Hulu's Difficult People.
